Bachoi Ian at Campo 8 Toledo-Manipis Road

When travelling in Cebu going to Toledo, Balamban, Asturias or anywhere, somewhere South-West of Cebu, there are 2 options going that route especially if you're coming from the South of Cebu.

One of the route is going via the normal route as most of us know that route is going to TOLEDO via NAGA-ULING Road, but the next best route would be TALISAY, MANIPIS-TOLEDO Road.

After the road widening works along Talisay, Manipis Road, more and more commuters are already passing this route as it is much faster without having to face the heavy traffic areas from Minglanilla to Naga specially on a rush hour of the day.

Aside from that, you can also see breath taking views of mountains as your pass by specially during early morning and late afternoon road trip. Right after passing the Man Made Forest along Campo 7, Manipis Road, relax and take selfies with the beauty of nature.

The place is neat and clean with simple setup. They even have a clean small CR for your call of nature. They serve meals that are lutong-bahay at a very affordable price. One of their specialty is the batchoy

Batchoy, less commonly spelled batsoy, is a noodle soup made with pork offal, crushed pork cracklings, chicken stock, beef loin and round noodles. Its origins can be traced to the district of La Paz, Iloilo City in the Philippines, hence it is often referred to as La Paz Batchoy.

Lami-an ug barato na putahi. Stuff with boiled egg, chicharon, beef, noodles and some vegetables. "Busog gyud kaayu pag human", with soft-drinks or Soda.

  1. This is the place that they say you can find the new Mango Avenue of the South specially at night. A very busy street with lots of people, motorbikes and cars.
